Construction labour supply in Cornwall
Single trades or full multi-trade teams, supplied to sites anywhere in the county.
Tell us the trade, the numbers and how long you need them. We put qualified, CSCS carded people on your site and handle the admin behind them — timesheets, CIS deductions, insurance, right-to-work checks. You manage the work; we manage the paperwork.
How the supply works
You call the job in
Trade, numbers, site location, start date and rough duration. A two minute phone call is usually enough to tell you whether we can cover it.
We match from the bench
We pick people we already know are fit for that job, not the next name on a list. If we haven't got the right person, we say so rather than send someone who'll waste your day.
They turn up inducted and ready
Crews arrive with cards, PPE and a briefing on your site requirements. Usually within the week, often within two or three days.
One invoice at the end
However many trades were on site, you get a single invoice. We handle timesheets and CIS deductions ourselves.
What's included as standard
- Valid CSCS card on every trade sent to site
- Public and employers' liability cover in place
- Right-to-work checks completed before deployment
- CIS registered — deductions handled correctly
- Timesheets collected and reconciled by us
- A direct mobile number for a director, not a call centre queue
Who we supply
Main contractors
Short-notice cover when someone drops out, or a standing crew for the length of a contract. We're used to working to a programme and to site inductions.
Developers and housebuilders
Multi-trade teams through the build sequence — groundworks, brickwork, first fix, boarding, skim, second fix, decorating.
Subcontractors
Extra hands when you've won more than you can staff. No minimum booking, no pressure to take a full team.
Local builders
One or two trades for a week or a fortnight, without going through a national agency that doesn't know Cornwall.
Trades we supply
If it's needed on a construction site or in a property, we've got it covered or we'll find it.
Common questions
How much notice do you need?
Less than you'd think. General labour and most single trades we can usually cover inside 48 hours. For a full multi-trade team on a fixed start date, a week or two of notice gets you a better crew.
Is there a minimum booking?
No. We'll supply one trade for one day if that's what the job needs. Most of our work sits between a fortnight and several months, but there's no minimum.
Who is responsible for supervision on site?
You are. We supply skilled trades and labourers who work to your site management and your programme. If you need a working foreman or a supervisor, tell us and we'll price it differently.
How do you charge?
An hourly or day rate per trade, invoiced against signed timesheets. Rates depend on the trade, the duration and the location. Ring us with the details and we'll give you a straight number.
What happens if someone isn't up to standard?
Tell us the same day and we'll replace them, and you won't be charged for the time. We'd rather lose a day's money than a client.
Areas we cover
We work the whole county. These are the areas we are in most often — if your job is somewhere else in Cornwall, ring us anyway.
Tell us what you need
Call either of us directly, or email the job details and we'll come back to you.
